Ruth Nina Welsh is an English singer-songwriter, pianist and guitarist whose signature, haunting vocals are captivating listeners. Ruth’s powerful lyrics and acoustic mix of styles – blues, folk, country, up-tempo and ballads – are attracting fans of iconic singer-songwriters like Joni Mitchell, Joan Baez, Carole King and Leonard Cohen.

Although Ruth is no longer well enough to play and perform, she is beginning to release her catalogue of studio songs and home recordings – which spans more than three decades – with newly commissioned artwork.

The five songs on this EP were recorded at Lime Tree Studios in Norfolk, UK, during 1999-2001. The original album photo was taken in 2000, when Ruth was rehearsing before recording Somehow – the first track on this EP. The album artwork was created in 2019 by artist Tanya Gordeeva.
